Identification coupled with effective management of common childhood Issues: Developmental disorders, behavioural deviances, emotional disturbances, poor adjustment & below par academic performance at school, social anxiety and peer pressure/interaction. The psychological, social & physical changes that occur in adolescence bring with them a unique set of challenges. Our Psycho-educative, experiential & wellbeing-focused services are specially curated to address the common & uncommon concerns that are specific to this age group.

Parenting is probably the most demanding & difficult job in present time. Often, mothers & fathers find themselves stuck or lacking the resources & skills to handle certain delicate aspects of their childs life. Our workshops are designed to assist you to counter these hurdles, both big and small, that come along with parenting.

We conduct programs for teachers, school counsellors & staff that are aimed at sensitization, training, skill-building & psycho-educational domains so that the Warm, affectionate, positive and healthy relationships could be nurtured. We also take into account certain  extraneous factors such as financial problems, work pressure, communication breakdowns, intimacy issues, constant arguments, ill health and unexpected trauma which may prove to be detrimental for the well being of a person, and can have disastrous repercussions for the person concerned. It is always worthwhile to work on improving one’s relationships. It is a constant work in progress.

The relationship counselling process will help you focus on your strengths rather than your weaknesses, and will help you gain a fresh perspective on your relationships. Through this process, counsellor will help you identify conflict areas and work towards realistic goals to create a positive change in your life. The counsellor will guide you to re-examine and strengthen your communication styles, which plays an important role in a healthy relationship. By the end of the sessions, you will feel confident in dealing with your relationship issues. We intend to educate students in the skills that are required to successfully complete gateway courses, seek admission or academic promotion and complete a program of study. This is achieved through identifying the gaps in basic academic skills and bridging them by developing the missing skill set.

At SCCG, we provide a safe & open space for counseling. Our main aim is to provide right guidance at the right stage. Saket Counselling and Career Guidance is certified and registered as a MSME under Government of India ( Reg.no. PB06D0001753) and empanelled for these services from National Career Service as well.

Dr. Mamta Taneja is a certified career analyst and registered counsellor under government of India (Reg.No. I14F84-1449340964286). She is an MA in Sociology & Psychology and she has a post graduate diploma in Guidance and Counselling. She holds a Ph.D. in Education and has more than 13 years of teaching experience in Guidance and Counseling. She has mentored close to 30 students pursuing their postgraduate and doctoral programs in the same field. She is a certified counselling psychologist and has to her credit 32 research papers in various national and international journals. She has participated in number of national and international seminars, workshops and conferences. As a counseling psychologist, her skills go far beyond guiding the students on the basis of their aptitude and interest. She puts into use her knowledge and expertise of psychology along with the application of scientific testing methods, to steer an aspirant towards a career at which he/she is best suited to succeed, not only in the materialistic context, but in the context of deriving maximum happiness and satisfaction out of it.
